hi, i'm yegetaneh — aka nahtty.
i build software, products, and experiments across saas, web3 & ai.
i'm a product-minded full-stack and blockchain developer from ethiopia with 5 years of shipping. i like finding an interesting problem, shaping the product, building the mvp, and seeing whether people actually want it.
most of that happens at xylo labs, my independent product lab for saas, ai, web3, and developer tools.
xylo labs
xylolabs.spacean independent product lab where i build saas products, ai tools, web3 concepts, and internet-native ideas. some become real companies. others exist because they were worth exploring.
xylo
buildingstablecoin infrastructure for africa.
the most ambitious build in the lab: infrastructure for stablecoins across african markets, aimed at open, programmable money for the continent.
about
i'm not only interested in writing code. i like the whole loop: spotting an interesting problem, shaping the product, choosing the stack, designing the experience, building the mvp, shipping it, and finding out whether people actually want it.
over 5 years i've built web products, saas, smart contracts, telegram bots and mini apps, and a lot of startup experiments, across react, next.js, typescript, node.js, python, solidity, and foundry.
i care about shipping, experimentation, clean product design, and strong developer experience: things that feel like real products, not technical demos. i work with ai coding agents daily, treating them as engineering and product collaborators rather than code generators.
in web3, i'm most interested in stablecoins, real-world asset tokenization, financial infrastructure, agentic commerce, autonomous payments, and open financial systems.

technologies
philosophy
i believe software should feel effortless.
the best products aren't the ones with the most features—they're the ones that solve one problem exceptionally well.
i'm drawn to simplicity, thoughtful design, and products that quietly improve people's everyday lives.
build with purpose.
ship often.
keep learning.
beyond code
outside of programming, i enjoy studying startups, product design, ai, and the future of technology.
i'm particularly interested in how ai and decentralized technologies can create more opportunities for individuals and businesses, especially across africa.
